Fantastic review. In a way, it felt somewhat dramatic. Sounded like you were really hoping the 8TCs were going to pull an upset but it wasn't meant to be.

Mike.......I was hoping the Kimber 8TC cables would be closer to the Silver Eclipse. I wanted the shootout to be neck and neck, but after the first cable swap listening to Fourplay I could see the writing on the wall, and money leaving my account traveling north.

Exactly. I remember the review I read of the 12TC and it noted there were subtle improvements but the two were so close you couldn't go wrong with either.

You've made the Wireworld cable intriguing by your review, and it's one worthy of publication (I've noticed that about your writings). I'm almost persuaded to check out the Silver Eclipse cables myself, but there's no need to, plus the cost is more than I'm comfortable with. So I will enjoy them in your system.

Charles.......I read that same review of the Kimber 12TC, and came to the same conclusion. I didn't feel I would gain anything by abandoning my 8TC in favor of the 12TC. My main system upstairs will remain wired with Kimber 8TC. I still like it.
