Anyone using mains conditioners with headphones?
Just got myself a conditioner for my Stax energiser and really pleased with the improvement. Greater stage width, more depth and detail. No loss of dynamics. Have others had similar experiences?

I run a Schiit Lyr headphone amp (and all the rest of my system) from a PS Audio P10. Cleaner, clearer sound is how I would describe it. All positive.

I've been interested in the P10 since first reviewed in TAS. I'm useing a monster avs 2000 and Tripplite 2400. 2400 runs my MC 501's only the monster runs everything else that I thought would benefit. Can you really tell the difference between the flat top and round top some wave settings? From the different articles that I've read they say yes but really not much of an explaination why, I can tell that the low end punch with of the 501's using the tripplite is better, tighter, more defined and in sync with the rest of the music if that makes any sense then without it. The monster doesn't seem to have as much of an impact if I'm being honest. Sometimes I think it's making an impact but I've made so many changes to my overall system that I can't say for sure. It certainly doesn't hurt the sound and my power is so bad I feel much better than without it. As I understand though a mains regenerator is different piece of gear but I'm not able to describe it that well but would like to know just what kind of differences one could expect. It's a pretty costly power strip. Do mains regenerators have something like Furman has called power factor or something like that where I guess it stores a certain amount of power for use with sudden loud sounds like hard drum hit or such? Curious about it because I need to add something to my system since I've added new components.
