Default MB100: PSU - Power Brick Replacement

The MB100 power brick is another McIntosh/Autonomics design faux pau. Not only does the power brick buzz but when any portion of the power source body and cords come into contact with ANY portion of system interconnects as well as speaker cables, the buzzing/interference becomes audible though the speakers. Side note: Since I do own quality interconnects and speaker cables, would not this type of issue be arrested?

Anyway...

I want to replace the power source. Does anyone know of a WireWorld/AudioQuest/Furutech equivalent power source developer/company that specializes in upgrading your power brick/supply with a high-quality performing power source?

OEM Power Brick Specifications:
Manufacture: MW Mean Well
Order No.: GS90A19-P1M
AC/DC Switching Adaptor
Model No. GS90A19
Input: 100-240VAC, 50/60Hz, 2.0A
Output: 19V - 4.74A, 90W MAX

Looks like the linear power supply I just got for my MS300 might work. Read the last post I made on the McIntosh MS300 power supply sticky.

Order placed for the HD-Plex Linear Power Supply last night. I confirmed with HD Plex that the unit is compatible. I provided detailed info to HD-Plex and they replied within less than 2 minutes after pressing my email send button. They are readily available! Great communication.

Just now in a Skype Chat with HD-Plex. They also confirmed that the power cable itself is shielded.

MB100 Power Supply....per Master David...the leader of the MB100 Brotherhood, I should get a Melbourne Labs Power Supply coming this week. David researched the different power supply cos out there and this one is in OKC. Melbourne Labs makes a number of different supplies. After making this one, I have asked that they put it on their site for folks who want to order. It took a while for them to manufacture the first one as the power port they matched up was an OLD Dell computer plug adapter and they had to order. I will takes some picks when it arrives. You can order in anodized blue, silver or black.

Fritz, I bought the one Cohibaman suggested and I will also buy the one you got so I can compare.

McIntosh having decades of power Supply experience should be very embarrassed about this one. Sheesh!
