Default What Are You Using To Clean Your Records?

I'm just about to run out of my Disc Doctor Miracle record cleaner fluid and am wondering what everyone else is using to clean their LP's?

Please also let me know if you changed from another product and which one you preferred?

Thanks

Distilled water, Simple Green, Ispropyl alcohol, photographic wetting solution. I use it in both the GEM manual method and the Audiodesk ultrasonic.

Thanks Trace.....I'm a bit hesitant using any Isopropyl alcohol.

For horizontal cleaning AIVS remains my choice:

For ultrasonic cleaning I use:
200ml Isopropyl Alcohol, 5ml Ifotol wetting agent - that's for a gallon of distilled water. I'm thinking of adding a bit of Hepastat 256 to that mix.

Thanks Tima....I was actually leaning towards the AIVS but still looking around.

I have been using the Musical Surroundings fluid lately. But I was thinking of trying L'Art Du Son Record Cleaning Fluid. Everyone seems to rave about it.

I've been using it for so long now I can't remember when I started. Also like AIVS products, which my son turned me onto.

I’ve been using L’art du Son for the last 6 or 7 years. It is THE surficant of choice if using an RCM like the VPI 16.5 or those like it. It’s highly concentrated, so a single bottle goes a very long way.
