20 amp isolated circuits

The folks at Audience are nice. I use the Oyaide outlets with my Sound Application and Kimber Palladians.

I just installed a Synergistic Research Teslaplex SE 20 amp outlet. I'm assuming it takes some breaking in?

Upside: Kept the benefits cited above on having dedicated 20 amp circuit and running thru the Audience AdeptResponse 12. Also, added a level of detail that wasn't there before...can see/hear the ridges and contours of notes because it sounds like there is a little more inner detail there and a little longer decay and more spatial cues...adds some frontal presence on front to back depth of soundstage.

Potential Downside: Introduced some "hi-fi" brightness or sheen on the top that doesn't sound very natural. Will listen for a while and burn in and then report back.

I ordered an Audience wall outlet (they cryo treat special Hubbell outlets). I don't think they advertise this product, but I'm so pleased with all their other products I placed an order for one.

I am now comparing my Oyaide R1 dedicated 20 amp outlet to the SR Teslaplex SE 20 amp outlet. The R1 doesn't have the sheen on top -- more relaxed and natural sounding, but lost some of the inner detail the SR brought to the party. I am going to burn in the SR outlet and see if that tones down some of the edge I'm hearing on top.

I am just about to get the UK version of Audience's adeptResponse 12, which has 8 UK 3pin outlets.

Over here a lot of people swear by the Furutech plugs and sockets. My Nordost power cables are all reterminated with FI-UK 1363(R) and FI-50(R).
