Default Frank Zappa Halloween 77

Among hardcore Frank Zappa fans the Halloween and NewYears Eve shows from New York are legendary. Back in the 70ties multitrack recording equipment was only available in Los Angeles, New York and London. Zappa loved to play in New York and record it on multitrack for further use. For these shows he often extended his current touring band and the shows were rehearsed like there was no tomorrow. So far, we had only the „Zappa in New York“ album, with songs from the 1976 Halloween and NewYears Eve runs, as a showcase of these extraordinary performances. Anybody, who had listened to the audience recordings of the 77 Halloween shows, had wet dreams of a super hifi release of those shows (insert drum roll here).

Now we have a complete (sic) release of all 6 shows of the 77 Halloween run! The music comes on a neat memory stick in 24 bit audio and the quality is outstanding!

My fellow aficionados, treat yourself to some ice cream for your ears and grab a copy as this as it is limited to 5.000 copies.

Best regards,
Ecki
