Thanks. The red / green illuminated buttons (power / mute?) seem to be a novelty in Ayre design.

Judging from the knurled knob I see sticking from the rear of the MX-R amp, it appears that Ayre uses the Cardas speaker connector on the mono block amplifier, as well.
