Left on.
Just a few minutes ago I opened the door and walked into the listening room. The first thing I noticed was the room was rather stuffy. The second thing was the blue ready light on the Luxman integrated. Seems that when I finished a listening session yesterday afternoon I failed to turn the unit off and and hit the "off display" button instead. The room as stated was stuffy but the unit was not overly hot. Of course it was just at idle, made me nervous for a few seconds when I realized what I had done

Don.......Other than consuming 280 watts continuously while turned on, even without a signal, there is no harm in leaving the Luxman L590Aii energized. There are some audio enthusiasts who never turn their gear off. With a Class-A integrated amp like your Luxman, leaving it on continuously will drive up your monthly utility bill and raise the room tempeature. It's the near equivalent of having three 100 watt light bulbs on 24/7.

On a side note I think the music sound just a bit better with the unit being fully warmed up, LOL.
