I just found out about Dan’s passing on another forum and quickly came to AA to verify that it was true. I have been absent from the audio forums in general and AA specifically for a long while but I was very saddened by the news. Like most here I never met Dan in person but felt I grew to knew him from his posts and my many exchanges with him on AA.

Pete I read through all your posts and thank you for bearing witness to his last days and for shedding even greater light on the person that we knew him to be.

My deepest condolences to his family and his friends.

Cyril

I also found that out after Howie touched base with me. I've lost a very dear friend whom I am in constant connect, personal advise or just plain chats. The last was beginning of this year. I did not even know he missed Marlene back then as he did not talked about it. I remembered clearly the first connection between him with me was the talk about PMC EB1, back when I was offered an opportunity to own a set from Audio Classics. From then on, he helped post all the pictures of the changes I had all these years, without which I could not make that EGO BOAST over here, where I guess I could no longer had the kind help, and most of all the nice chats that could sometimes lasts more than 40 minus long distance. Dan RIP and I surely know you will be missed by many ... and in particular, me. Thanks for all the memories and friendship! My heart grieved much as I end here ......
