Ah, yes....I see he was also involved with some of the Dynaco designs. Then you had, in the same era, Bob Carver, who at that time was with Phase Linear. Dan and I were discussing these brands of yesteryear yesterday.

I'm still using my Hafler DH-500A amp in my Florida room system. Before forming his own company, David was also one of the lead engineers for Dynaco.

I owned a Hafler DH-200 to drive my JBL L100's in a second system for a couple of years. The DH-200 was a good MOSFET amplifier.

Yep, I remember this one, too. A friend of mine had one driving a pair of Magnapans. He liked it.

Pete.......I was using an Adcom GFP1A preamp with the Hafler DH-200. It made a good system with the L100's.

Wow, I had an SAE 2600 for a long time - that picture brings back some memories.
I wish I still had it, just because it looked so cool. Sound would be mediocre by today's standards, but wow, it packed a punch.

I loved the pics in this post. Brings back fond memories of owning a lot of that gear. A dealer here in Indy carried the GAS line, can't tell ya how many Ampzilla's I repaired for him.

I owned mine for about 20 years and the only issue was a broken spring on the fuse door.

I just sold my Sumo Andromeda III amp this past year. That amp actually controlled the bass on my speakers better than my 501's.

Their gear always sounded good. Whenever I opened an Ampzilla I was garranteed a suprise. I think every one had different front-end boards. Those were fun times.

I had a Sumo Gold (150w class A), one evening it sent the woofers of my IMF TLS80's across the room.
