CH Precision comparison
Hi Folkas
I recently heard about these products from a friend and was wondering if it was worth looking into. In Particular 2 areas. The power amp and the digital front end. Has anyone had the opportunity to compare them against their American counterparts? Specifically: 1) The CH C1 (DAC) vs. EMM Labs DAC2x? 2) The CH A1 (AMP) vs. JRDG 725's. I guess given the budget I can only afford the stereo version.. Looks like a very interesting product line but there is so little information especially comparisons with other gear.. Thanks in advance! |

Harmonix,
Can't offer personal experience with the EMM but i am a C1 user and it has opened up Digital to me where i was previously almost exclusively an analog guy. The build quality is top rate (as it should be) and happy to provide more insights if useful. I was using Meridian digital previously. Howie did the same move. Chris |

C1 is very good but i have found Totaldac Twelve a bit better.
Regarding SS pre-power CH Precision is the best at any price IMO. |

I think the EMM Labs DA-2 Reference would be the way to go! One of the best out there!
