Aurender vs Bryston vs Antipodes
Did any of you who own the Aurender compare it to the Bryston bdp-2 or 3? Or the Antipodes DX?
I run a 12 terabyte NAS to my system, so the internal drives of the Aurender & Antipodes don’t motivate me. My concern is for an enhanced listening experience, and I’m wondering what your experiences have been. I’m re-filling the audio slush fund and am eyeing a Esoteric D02x. I could very easily keep my BDP-2 as my media player. I like the interface, and it sounds quite good. But with all the reviews I’m reading the N10 seems like a hell of a machine that may in fact trounce my current player. Did anyone make the leap from a Bryston or similarly priced player to the Aurender? Last edited by phishphan; 07-18-2017 at 11:05 PM. |

Kyle.......Horses for courses, as they say. These are all excellent music servers, but each is different in many ways. I did research the Bryston BDP-3 and the Antipodes DX. I also looked close at the Lumin U1. I find my Aurender N10 to be the most complete package for my requirements and application.
