Don't even think about the Halide. If you want to stay with a Mc DAC, consider the D1100. It's really really good IMO.

Default aurender N100H

The K01X is top shelf, never would have sold mine if it came in black. The Esoteric sound is simply sublime. You will very quickly realize the MCD500 is no where near the Esoteric. It took me all of 30 sec a/b K01X with MCD1100. I never hooked MCD up again.

J3-

I have been contemplating a music server. As how you have owned both an X100 and a N10 might you be able to comment on sound quality differences?

Thanks!

Here is the thing that shocked me the most. I have become a vinyl listener. Today I compared Tin man by Stevie Ray Vaughn on vinyl, the Aurender via Tidal and the cd I have and the Aurender was clearly the best sounding. Another skeptic converting moment

David.......This is great news. Congratulations. You will love the Aurender N100H.

As for skeptic converting moments, I have witnessed you go through a few of those through the years.

Sorry big fingers small keyboard on phone sent post without finishing. When you throw in Tidal and now Internet Radio not even mentioning price I just can't see how you can beat the Aurender.
