I've seen them and always been curious but was afraid to ship a turntable from Croatia.

I know.

Mine took 5 weeks to arrive.

Ivan (SAM POC) replies to emails within hours and is very helpful.

You would have to spend thousands more to get something similar in any other brand so the value is there if you want to keep it. (Resale may not be there yet).

Just went from an LP12 that I enjoyed for years to this one and it has been a good improvement.

That is a very nice looking TT/TA combo. Like others, have never seen one before.

TTs & TAs are just like any other of our gear. Taken apart, as needed, and packed well there is no problem. The problem comes up when one does not remove the platter (or lock it down) or the dustover and doesn' t properly do the same with the TA. Its all in proper packing. I would not hesitate to purchase a TT/TA from a new supplier due to any shipping issues. They should certainly know how pack them securely.

My first dip into the analog ocean - a Brinkmann Bardo. I tried a handfull of cartridges but the one that sealed the deal for me was the magical Lyra Etna. Simply amazing.

I am sure the Kleos is superb as well. I did not have a chance to listen to it in my set up. The single quality that made me "loose my mind" and get the Etna was not the deep lows or the smooth highs. It was the sense that the speakers and the rest of the equipment were all gone. It's a feeling hard to put into words but once you've experienced it you know what I am trying to explain.
