Ventoux.......What is the model number of the hour meter you are using? The one I use is the ENM T44F65C hour meter.
The back of the meter looks like this.

They both are the exact same Dan. T44F65C
Tag reads: T44F65C 4.5-60 VDC/AC CX Ready puzzled. Am I testing correctly with a 9Volt battery? Just won't tick over any time for me. Appreciate your help on this btw. I'm at 550 hrs on my Mac tubes & want to roll my GL's and get this meter working before I do. Thanks again.

Ventoux.......Try putting a jumper between terminals P and I. If you have the timer wired exactly like the photo above, make sure your push button reset switch is a normally open switch that only closes when you push the button.

It took me three tries, and 3 meters to get it correct, but all is working perfectly now thanks to Dan! 900+ hrs and no issues.
My problems were self inflicted. I used a stereo cable with 3 wires, and had it connected incorrectly.

Well, I after several attempts - I have Success
 I didn't have the jumper connected - as I didn't think I needed it for the meter to work. But, obviously this model needs it to be wired. My Mono cable turned off my light on my MC2301 meter - ?? So, I switched to a stereo cable - and that seems to work. I'm wondering what Mono cable you guys are using? Anyway - seems to be working now. Time to solder all my connections and roll my GL's that have been patiently waiting.   Thank you Dan! Again
