When I first saw the black, I thought yuck. Now it looks absolutely beautiful to me.

If the mono's had only come in black, I wouldn't have purchased them. I guess that is why he gives us the choice.

Thanks Gents.

Yes Mike. This is hopefully what the pics bring - a big tease. I love looking at all the great photos of everyone's gear.
I did not realise Dan's signature has an arrow that goes from the A and ends up at the t on his logo until I looked at these photos.

Gotta say every day loving the amp more and really is sophisticated eye candy to gaze at when listening to tunes.

Yes, the amp is built from up from below from a single aircraft grade alloy billet - aka Ayre MX-R
The main power toroid is a totally custom built rated at 1.6kw. Hard to believe such a high rated toroid can even fit into the smallish bottom space. I guess this is why it took dozens of custom toroids for Dan to be finally happy with the performance..

Cheers

Usually a designer develops the circuit and then plans the chassis around it , looks like Dan approached it another way around . Very well conceived too , compact and with great efficiency. Remarkable turnaround for a man who designed those humungous hot running Krells .
I had the pleasure of hearing the Momentums driving a pair of Avalon Isis (90db@4ohms),and while the cabling and support cast was less than stellar , its pedigree was unmistakable . I particularly remember it motoring thru a cut featuring Kodo drums ,totally unfrazzled ,with plenty in reserve and transient speed to spare .

Sure is pretty. Love the white accent on the speakers.
