Default Shunyata Sigma speaker cables

Hi Caelin or Grant,

When will the new Sigma speaker cables be available? I don't see anything on your website yet?

Thanks,

Bob

Hi Bob,

We are waiting on some final external parts but should have production soon. I'll hold off on predicting an exact availability date until the few final parts have arrived.

Best regards,

Grant

Hi Grant,

Thanks for the update. Looking forward to them. My Shunyata dealer has a pair on order for me.

Any update on the release of these cables and specs would be appreciated.
The upgrade of speaker cables is the last leg of my cables upgrades, and this post caught my attention to hold out for any new product releases in 2017.
Thank you.

Grant or Caelin,

Any update would be appreciated. I prepaid my dealer for a set of these upcoming speaker cables back in January. Back then I was told by my dealer that it would be several weeks, but still nothing on the Shunyata website. Thanks and appreciated.

Patience guys. I waited close to a year for my Venom speaker cables in the HT. LOL. They are nice, but only came with spades versus the ability to switch between spades and bananas. Since spades are what I wanted I didn't say anything.

@BluFox:
Patience is virtue, but if you reread my post above, you'll note that I paid the entire amount for the cables to my dealer (The Cable Company) back in mid January, over 2 months ago which was not exactly "chump change." In light of this, who wouldn't be concerned when a product is not received months after full payment for the merchandise? I normally don't pay for products until they are either shipped of received, but this time I did which in retrospect was not good judgment on my part.

At the time of payment, my dealer told me that my cables were to be drop shipped from Shunyata in a couple of weeks as production was supposed to be started soon according to conversations between my dealer and Shunyata at that time. I had no reason not to believe my dealer as I have been customer of theirs for many years and they've always came though with prompt shipments and I've always considered them a top notch company.

Due to recent major health problems, receiving cables has not been a top priory of mine at present.

As an update, I called my dealer today and I was told that they had been on the phone with Shunyata earlier in the day and "shipment should be soon." While this is reassuring news as it was a month ago during my last inquiry with my dearer, the intent of my post yesterday was to hear an approximate date from either Grant or Caelin directly.

I understood your post. I also had paid for my cables with The Cable Company. I understand wanting what you paid for, I am just saying they will show up. After a while, I was offered a refund, or a discount on Zitron speaker cables, but I just waited for the Venoms. Shunyata is a customer friendly company and they will do right for you. Of course, if some part, or whatever, cannot be obtained then obviously they can't ship, but once the pieces are together then you will get yours.

However, it might be better to not let vendors take orders until a ship date is guaranteed.

Agreed and thanks for your reply as well as your thoughts regarding vendors taking preorders; especially very expensive prepaid ones at that without a clear timeframe of implementation and shipment of a new line of gear from the manufacturer.
