Power Bandwidth: (-3dB points) 12Hz to 70kHz.
Frequency Response: (-3dB points at 1 watt) 1.0Hz to 70 kHz.
Input Sensitivity: 0.55V RMS Single-ended for rated output. (32.5dB gain into 8 ohms.)
Input Impedance: 52.5K ohms Single-ended.
Inputs (5): 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (Single Ended RCA connectors).
Maximum Input: 10V RMS (any input).

Overall Negative Feedback: 4dB.
Slew Rate: 10 volts/microsecond.
Rise Time: 4 microseconds.
Hum & Noise: Less than 1.0 mV RMS -88dB below rated output (IHF weighted, Vol down).

More than double the energy storage of the '60.

Mark...also double the price. I believe the VSi60 was $3,995 when it came out. For only a 25% increase in output power (60 --> 75 wpc), seems like a bit of unreasonable hike. I am a huge ARC fan but I always appreciated that their integrated amps were priced "reasonably." If this were a 100 or 120 wpc integrated with direct lineage from Ref 75 power amp and some trickle down in the volume control and preamp stage from the Ref 5SE, then I would have said the $8K would have been a more appropriate price point. But this feels a bit rich to me

What do you guys think?

I was told there is some trickle down in this new amp and if you saw my first post, I said this is a new design and not an upgrade from the '60.

You seem to think I was being critical of your statement. I was not. just following up on your comment with my observations. My question remains: I know we are just dealing with specs right now, but do you think it's good value where it is priced or a little bit rich? Just curious.

The vsi60 was an excellent unit with a lot
of positive reviews.
And from ARC they saying they double the quality
and from what it saids in the manual is a brand
new unit from the ground up.
As soon they arrive at my store I will let you know
how it sounds.

The market will answer your question.

Nelson...thx for that. Looking forward to your thoughts on it.

Mark...you are most certainly correct. Customers will vote one way or the other with their wallets. Here's hoping this is another successful product for ARC.
