An inexpensive solution if your not as handy as Gary, are rebar chairs from Lowes or Home Depot. About fifty cents a piece.

Well, maybe. You know how it is with some tweaks. My perception is that it improved overall clarity. It's nothing as dramatic as, say, putting Stillpoints under my amp. I've made a number of non-electronic changes in the last few weeks - added Stillpoints, moved my equipment from between speakers to side wall, and added these risers. The improvement from all those things is quite noticeable. Even my wife has commented on how much better it sounds. The contribution from the risers was small compared to the others.
