Dan, the size platforms I purchased was 18"w x 19"d. I measured my MC601s first to get the exact size. That is one of Symposium's stock sizes, I just had them put the label on the 18" side instead of the 19"side.

Since it is Friday night, I have time to actually listen to some music with the Symposium Ultra Platforms. All I can say is that I should have purchased them a long time ago. Everything sounds better to me. My music sounds new to me again. I will be up late tonight listening. I always like it when a purchase exceeds my expectations.

All my gear is under Symposium platforms and rollerblocks (well almost all, the Aurender N100H is on HRS Nimbus with a damping plate on top).
I can only say good things about Symposium and specially Peter Bizlewicz, who's extremely helpfull.
Highly recommended!

Hi Paul, the Ultra,s look fantastic under the MC,s. The Ultra,s come with footers I believe and if so did you try those as well and what was the difference in SQ compared to the Stillpoints.

My Ultra well be arriving tomorrow to be placed under my Accuphase A65 and cant wait.

Tecknik1, I didn't order the Symposium Ultra's with the one piece footers that come with them since I already had Symposium Rollerblocks to put there. Switching out the Rollerblocks with the Stillpoints Ultra SS brought the sound quality up another level. In this hobby it is about the tiny improvements. I am sure you will love your new Ultra.

I was so pleased with the way the Symposium Ultra Platforms look and sound under my amps that I sent the picture to Pete at Symposium to post on his website. I am Paul C from NY with my comments.

Georges, I am horrible describing sound differences. It was improvement enough for me that I thought it was worth it. It got my amps off the floor also. As a disclaimer, I have all of my components on Symposium Svelte shelves on Stillpoint Ultra Mini's and find that also to be an improvement for me.

I'm asking because I looked at those at one point as I wanted to upgrade my stands. It's good that the fedback on those are positive.
