Default Scratched off bucket list: 1985 Supra

I recently bought a pristine 1985 Supra. The car is in excellent shape. Everything works. It is a great handling car that was well maintained and cared for. It was shipped from Ca to Fl. I just got it this week. The driver of the car carrier wanted to buy it I told him i haven't even sat in it the first time. It was turn key ready. I started it up and drove my 15 year old son around. We stopped for gas and spent 3 hours talking to folks about the car! My son felt like a rock star. Me? I felt like I hit the lottery. I waited a long 32 years to finally get one of these cars. I was in high school when this came out. I remember sitting at the dealership wishing I could afford a black Supra. Time passed and family commitments pushed the dream back in my mind until my son started showing me internet photos of the 1985 Supra, re-igniting that flame! I started searching and located this one. It was love at first sight! I've only driven it a few times but it sure is fun to drive. It's an attention getter for sure. It's going to be in the family for a long time.

I'm bummed by the low Rez pics. This might work if you're interested.

Nice ride.

I must say that your Supra is quite a few years too new to be something I coveted in high school.

Thanks! I know it's not a muscle car but it's something I pined for, for a long time!

Ha! I'm hitting 50 this summer. It's my mid life crisis I guess.

Congrats on finally landing your dream car! I remember lusting after that one as well. Looks like it's in excellent condition. Enjoy cruising.

I had a girlfriend in high school with a late 70s predecessor. I loved that car more than she did.

Congratulations. It's a unique cool car.
