A Hyatt Place or Hilton Garden Inn would be considered "roughing it."

And it better have a bar (or mini-bar) or else there will be hell to pay!

Here are a couple of pics of us "camping". If you look closely you can see the Tera Speakers hanging on the side of the coach.
Powered by a Bryston B60 with a Sonos ZP90 so I can listen to music wherever we go. Inside we have a Marantz AV receiver with Klipsch speakers, Velodyne sub, 40" LED, HD satellite and a Sonos

We used to go camping when we were kids and during college but not since then.

He could not understand why anyone would actually want to camp.....but then again he based his assessment on his time he spent in the Ardennes Forest during the winter of '44-'45.

I camp, but those who think camping means you have to be cold uncomfortable and dirty wouldn't consider what I do camping. To start I have a large 12x12 tent complete with a wood stove, two large cots, a work table with a couple of chairs. I also have a large three burner camp stove putting out 14K BTUs per burner and a shower with a pressurized hot water system. Oh and I can't forget my fridge/freezer in my jeep. I'm very comfortable when I camp.

Decades ago when I was a boy scout I did camp. Lots of fun.

Now I stay in the best hotels. I believe it's the only choice for this stage in my life. But I don't have as much fun as I had when I was a boy scout.

Gee whiz. That sounds like a lot of work.

A couple of winters ago we were without power for three days. It felt like camping even though I never left my house!
