Hi! i'am writing from italy so excuse me for my orrible english!!
I have a DP-85; i would like to buy the new C-37 DAC. Do you think is good to use the DP-85 like a transport cd and C-37 as DAC? Thank you very much!!

As an intermediate solution: why not.
Better solution: buy DP-720.

How often Accuphase updates their models? A new version of C-37 is coming?

In average every four to five years a new model. No info about a successor of C-37 yet.

They naild it real good with the DC-37... hard to make it better. But it will probably be upgraded to the newest ESS chip.. but the analog stage is extreme in the DC-37.
