Yes, I can confirm this. See my attached photo of my old MC402 meter. That black round dot in the exact middle of the photo can be adjusted with a small flat-head screw driver.

Warning, getting to this part of the meter is going to take some work, most likely. Just taking off the face will give you access to the meter, but the adjustment screw will likely be behind another piece of metal. You may have to physically remove the meter to get access to this portion. Taking the meter completely out can be a fairly significant task.

Your pink arrow is most likely the meter's zero adjustment at rest.

No, you can't bend or break the needle. A slight turn will move the needle, verify the correct direction and zero it in.

Ah, good. Yes, the hole where your pink arrow is should allow you to adjust. You don't have to worry about breaking the needle. You'll just use a small flat head to move the adjustment screw ever so slightly.

Also, the meter comes out from the back. You will see little hex-nuts holding onto bolts from the back side of the meter panel.

Because the autoformers are so close, it is difficult to remove. To really get at it, you would have to disassemble the enter front assembly from the bottom.

Acutally, you can likely ignore all of the info above, because you should be able to adjust via the hole indicated in pink.

mati1979.......Yes, the pink arrow is the adjustment screw for the meter needle. With the power amplifier turned off, take a small screwdrive and gently turn the screw while watching the needle. Once you have the needle pointing directly over the first meter scale hash mark you are finished. It is simple to do, just be careful, gentle, and go slow with adjusting the screw.
