It doesn't matter what's inside those boxes... It matters what Transparent cabling can do to make your system "sound" better. I think you get the most "value" in their Ultra line. However every step is a significant improvement. Even their Super line is quite good in my opinion. That would be a good starting point. I currently use Ultra. I will say I will definitely upgrade to Reference at some point. As I have mentioned in this thread.... if you buy from a dealer you get most of your retail value back when you upgrade. However, you can find good prices on Audiogon. (Although MM2 technology is more rare on Audiogon.) If you want to know what is in the "boxes" give transparent a call. They are very customer oriented and I'm sure they could tell you anything you wanted.

I'm not a Wilson guy so I wouldn't really know. But I had come across this video nonetheless, "Wilson Watt Puppy VI sound like the new Sasha," and found it quite interesting.
YouTube - Wilson Watt Puppy VI sound like the new sasha The Transparent cables are replaced with Siltech, among other things. Last edited by MisterBritt; 03-27-2011 at 09:05 PM. |

This video is interesting. although it can't prove anything. But it's nice to see inside of
this expensive speakers. internal wiring doesn't look like any Transparent cables I saw before. But from this video sound does changed. |
