Beautiful cj goes with a beautiful system.

the pre amp will be the spot to put the Stillpoints when you get the cj flavour settled.

I wouldn't have the patience to wait! But it will certainly be interesting for you to hear the difference. Please report back. I wonder why Stillpoints didn't work with your PMCs? Were they between speaker and stand or under stand? Sorry to hijack thread...

Congratulations Bikeman! Is this your first CJ ownership experience? If so, you'll probably find that it evolves into a very rewarding long term relationship. I've owned CJ equipment for decades and have experienced nothing but positives. Enjoy!

I haven't listened at that volume in a long time! I'm guessing it's the amp, but there is so much control at high volume. It just sounds right....even at 59!

I tried them between the speakers and the stands. The word I remember using to describe the sound was clinical. I will definitely report back on stillpoints under the CJ n a week or two.

Congrats Brent !!

I owned PMC EB1i speakers during a few years and I know own 2 CJ preamps. A GAT and a Premier 17LS.
I think I can guess why you are very happy.
Excellent choice !
