"Loom." I'd be embarrassed to use the word. It would be admitting that I pay attention to wire marketers.

I don't.

I've tried a number of the cables mentioned in this thread and do not like many of them. That said, I have a friend I trust who has good things to say about the Synergistic Apex which I haven't heard myself.

I use, and love, Transparent Reference XL interconnect and speaker cable. It is remarkably uncolored and quiet, allowing the music to emerge clean, clear and unfettered. That's all I can ask from a cable and Transparent delivers.

I am using DNM throughout, for interconnects and speakers. They are cheap, and sound very "real" to me. Lifelike, but not showy.

"Loom" sounds like marketing persuasion, but you will recommend a cable you have never heard?
