Question What do you do?

As most of us audio nuts search for the perfect set up we typically go through several pieces of gear. I'm sure most of us prefer a demo of some sort but if what your after or interested in isn't in your area often times we buy sight and sound unseen often times leaving us with gear that we now need to resell For me I'm going through this right now with speakers and while I can the cash to make one or more immediate purchases I simply don't have the floor space to store multiple speaker sets. So what do you do (or better yet what should I do )?

If I didn't have extra rooms/closets to store gear, I'd look into climate controlled storage units.

Never had that problem.....

As long as you can still see carpet-you're okay. If you can't, then it is time to sell or trade your way up to a more expensive speaker.

Please don't ask me how I know that.....

Wow Don, you have a problem. Let me see if I can help you out. Here are some places I've used to store my extra equipment when I was not using it.
1.under the bed
2.in the garage
3.in a different room
4.in the closet
5.at a friends house
6. In the trunk of your car
7.in the shed
8.rent a pod
9.storage center
10.at my neighbors house
11.at Mom's house
12.behind the coach
13.under the stairs
14.in the laundry room
15.in the bathtub
16.in the attic
17.in the crawl space under the house
18.work

I hope this helps.

I don't like clutter. Over the past few years I have eliminated the great room system, my office system and a two channel system that was off to the side of my HT set-up. In general if it is not used, it's gonna go.

I love it -- "in the bath tub" that's hard core!
