Best of luck Dan. Let me know how it sounds. I should be getting my Aurender next week. Hopefully the transfer of files goes smoothly and I won't have to rerip my entire CD collection again.

OH, and again congrats very nice!
Dave.......Thanks. Yes, the setup time is extensive. The good thing is I am on the home stretch and once completed the effort will be worth it.

I haven't had any time to actually listen to the Aurender today, at least not yet. I had to rip that last stack of CD's, and since then I have been moving music files from an external hard drive to their respective folders on the N10's hard drive. I am still at that task. I should take a break and spend a few hours listening to the new server but I am a man on a mission. Once I get rolling I usually stick with the task until it's completed. Then it will be play time.

Paul......."Glad it's over" is an understatement. I had 110 hours in the ripping chore.

Dan so this will also replace the laptop and thus the JRiver app in your studio correct? I have read good stuff on that gear, it should be a cleaner signal path and of course a lot of flexibility choices etc. nice

Jim.......Will do a full review once I am completely finished moving the music files to the N10 and have over 100+ hours of break-in time logged on the server.

You should not have any issues getting up and running. As long as your music files are already in the format you plan to use, dragging and dropping them onto the Aurender's hard drive is easy.

Dave.......Yes, sir. The laptop will no longer be a part of the studio sound system, nor will the Olive 04HD music server. I will keep the Olive 04HD in the studio until I have been able to do a comparison between it and the Aurender N10, but after that the 04HD will come out of the studio sound system.
