Love all the inside looks and photos that Mono and Stereo provides, but i don't think we can really consider that a review. Pretty lacking in the usual system matching info, detailed description of pros and cons, and comparison to competitors that the best reviewers tend to include. More like a fan appreciation. But I'm sure the lucky few owners could care less as they will be doing their own evaluations.

Am I the only one who prefer the old Extremas design? That Art Deco design was cool while the new is....meh.

(I wish I had something positive to say about the avalanche of Sf news including the new Extr3ma, the Ilium, the Olympicas, etc.,... I would love to, trust me, and hate to sound like a chronic pessimist and complainer, but I just do not recognize the brand and simply can not identify with it anymore...) |

Agreed but heck after they decided to make the Chinese Venere's nothing will shock me anymore unfortunately. |

The new Ex3ma is smaller than I thought in real life. The woodwork is not as lovely as in their other models, I think.
Pics! Probably looked better in black wood ore walnut. This Red/orange is not my favorite. Or continue with carbon at the sides to.

Ditto great pics Apexorca. Yeah they do appear smaller don't they? I imagine they sound fantastic and they are certainly unique in their own right but it seems like many companies could have shipped those off their assembly line. They don't have that SF hand crafted feel to them.

I think the side panels are suppose to interact like a sound board does and I agree with you on the color choice even having the wood sandwiched with cabin overlay maybe even better.
Still the sound is all that matters...with all the buzz it's still limited to the rich and famous only. |
