I assume your not using the built in apps on your Sony 4K TV, but if you decide to try a new Blu-ray player, and if you upgrade your HDMI cable, you should also run an Optical Digital Audio Cable from the TV's digital output into the MX151. You may be able to tape the cables together and attach to the old HDMI cable, then pull them through. This way you can listen to Dolby Digital. Blue Jeans Cables Optical Digital Audio Cable works well and is available for 30 feet.

Thanks. I do use an optical out from the Sony to the MX151. Yes. for the TV's apps like Amazon videos, YouTube, Netflix etc.
