Smart TV Hookup
All of my televisions date back to before "smart Tv's were invented. My friend just got one for his exercise room and he said he had to take it back because it had no cable connection. My television has the cable come in to the house and is connected to the hi-Def box, which is connected to the HT receiver, which is connected to the TV. I'd like to get a new 4K TV, but I still love my Panasonic Plasmas.

Jack.......I have three 4K smart TV's. Each is connected via HDMI to DirecTV satellite receivers. Each is also connected via HDMI to Oppo UDP-203 4K Blu-ray players. The living room and studio smart TV's are also connected via Ethernet cable to my Internet router. The bedroom smart TV uses WiFi to connect to my router. Everything works perfectly. HDMI and Ethernet connectivity are what you will need.

Thanks Dan. That Netgear box will cover a lot of connections. I may get one anyway to simplify things at the router.
