How often do you change gear? When my wife and I had out first child I went through a bunch of different gear. Here is the gear I have recently added and the gear that I sold throughout the process .

I definitely don't view this as a good thing (because of the speed involved), but in the last 2 years:

This is the gear I have sold during the past six years. I regretted selling a couple components so I bought them again (C2300, MR88) and still own both of the second ones. I owned four MC601's all at one time but then traded two when I bought the MC2301's. The transition to trying new gear started when I began participating in audio forums. Imagine that! Fortunately, after six years I have finally settled on four systems I am thoroughly satisfied with so I have slowed way down.
