Yup, I was referring to the console system. The Paragon is sui generis and, even back in the old days, I preferred my A7s.

Kal.......Had a pair of those, too. Big gray cabinets with 15" woofers and the green horns and drivers outside up on top. I drove mine with a pair of McIntosh MC30 mono tube amps and a Dynaco PAS3 preamp I built from a kit. Sounded damn good and would blow the plaster off the wall in that old San Fransisco Victorian house. Those were some crazy days.

Mine were home-built and black and, driven by Dyna PAS3/ST70, it filled up my basement apartment. Sold it all off to go to my post-doc where I lived with headphones for 2 years. Then, I built transmission lines.............
