While James Bongiorno previously worked at SAE, I believe that the Ampzilla models were made under the Great American Sound (GAS) brand.

And then started SST I believe in 2000 with the Ampzilla 2000 and matching pre-amp.
Started working with EJ Sarmento from W4S. A joint redesign was begun and James sold the company to EJ prior to his passing. EJ finished the new line and has re-introduced SST with Ampzilla 2000 Second Edition and Son of Ampzilla II. Matching pre-amps have also been made available. Some really fantastic equipment.  I had an SAE 2600. Huge meters, solid construction. I drove a pair of Ohm F with this amp. In 1980 it was $1500, a huge sum for me at the time.
