dCs +1.
dCS: Audiophile Products

Emm Labs also make fantastic analog sounding players. One of the best digital I've heard.

---Well recorded SACDs (from the good record labels), beats most of the standard CDs.

Yeah, you have XRCD24, and other great CDs of higher caliber (hi res from FIM, etc.),
but most SACDs playing in even cheap players sound good.

And Kal got an excellent point regarding multichannel (three channels up to six channels).

* For me, SACDs are in my better quality section of music material (higher up than my regular CDs).

How important? ...As much if not much more than my very best LPs.
And besides, LPs are only two-channel restricted stereo.

I can't.

I have found that the real jump in quality is in the remastering not the format.

-----But only the two front/side trims and outer rings from the two front knobs are silver.

Masterlu is after "All Silver" right?

It is water under the bridge but I believe that the failure of SACD was due to the lack of single-inventory, hybrid (CD-compatible) releases of pop music. I would not have bought them myself but it might have assured the success of the medium.
