One question for the Furutech experts here.
My dealer just let me know he can have the "old" version for 850€, the newer NCF version for 1020€.
Is the difference in sound improvement worth the extra 170€?

I previously stated that I could not hear any perceived difference between the original Furutech Flux-50 vs NCF Flux-50 Filters.

Today I compared them with my EMI meter; the NCF version does in fact do a better job of filtering out EMI. Approximately 45~50% better to my surprise.

I’m going to have to do some more critical listening/comparisons. One worthy note is that I replaced the original Flux-50 feeding my Sony Projector with the new NCF Flux-50 Filter.

Wow, obviously my eyes are better than my ears. I was immediately rewarded with a more vivid picture. Noticeably better color saturation, even better Black levels that I didn’t even think was possible. This experiment was easily repeatable by exchanging the Filters back and forth. Obviously the NCF Flux-50 will remain on my projector. I also put one on my Pioneer Kuro; the same results once again.

Although I couldn’t be more pleased with the results, it’s kind of a moot point. That is until I can obtain some real quantities of these to offer to AA Subscribers.

Ivan, thank you very much for this little experiment.
Our Pioneer Kuro is also fed by our Burmester 948. I'll order a NCF filter, put it on my 948 and see/hear the results on our gear.

I am interested how this is configured. Can it be plugged in between the wall and my power conditioner or does it need to dedicated to each component which would be cost prohibitive for me? Thx.

Yes, they can go in your Power Conditioner (Dan did that with one of his).
