Alberto, those Sandringhams sure look familiar.. Give them a good listen for a few days, I think you will really love them. There was a sense of ease, naturalness and a relaxed presentation that struck a chord with me. I feel these speakers will be a wonderful match for your new Shindo gear. They are sensitive enough for your room/power but it is the benign impedance curve that your Shindo will appreciate and it should sound more effortless and balanced with the Tannoys over the SF speakers.

Tannoy dual concentrics image really well, even in less than ideal rooms. I believe I have 5 pairs here. Enjoy!

What preamp is that in the picture? C40?
Close, the preamp is a C34V - I'd love a C40 but the C34V comes very close.

Great description Serge, the Tannoys are all you said they would be. Great looks, natural and relaxed presentation, great imaging, etc.

But the Guarneris really, REALLY, surprised me in the past two days. This is not going to be a slam dunk in either direction. See my post about the epic speaker battle about to take place over the next few days.

Very nice looking speakers Alberto. They already look like part of the environment. But the best is yet to come as they say - their sound. Congrats!
