Ah, Linux! sorry for my stating misinformation ...assumed windows or MAC.

The Aurender is a Linux based server and as such, does not have the necessary drivers needed to connect to the Esoteric.

The Aurender was designed iirc to run best on AES so that's the connection to use with the Esoteric.

There are LOTS of options besides Aurender. Personally, not sure the Aurender is worth it anyway. Lot's of cheaper options, and similar priced options that do more. JMHO
