On my Esoteric K-03 I am presently enjoying the upconversion set to Original and the digital filter set to FIR1. Sounds fabulous.

OK this thing is ridiculous
 On SACD's of course it is amazing, and I am just getting started. However, I just spun my 1st CD: Aja Mobile Fidelity Original Master Recording WOW it really knocks it out of the park. I could list a dozen or more adjectives to start with. Never heard a machine play a CD this well, in fact I would say the CD play is better than any machine I have ever owned playing SACD compared to a CD on the K-03. It is that good! And there is a lot of break in period to go and then there is going to be the digital files.... I think it only gets better  Anyway, the wife is out of town for 2 days to see family, I think for sure I will be up till the sun is cresting the horizon from the east

Congrats Dave on the new K-03. I received mine also yesterday but you are ahead of me in the set up process. I will be putting it in the rack and starting the burn in process this morning. I may have to cheat an listen to it also for a short time out of curiosity. I feel like I have joined a club.
