Default Best audio upgrade

The best audio upgrade... are Your ears.

If you have not tried or are not doing this on a regular basis, you are in for quite an "ear opening" experience.

No matter how well you think you clean your ears, it's not deep enough and you can't get to the ear drums nor should you ever touch them! Over time the natural build up keeps accumulating and when you use this tweak, it is like hearing your system after a major upgrade. The gradual but constant accumulation keeps eroding the acuity of your hearing over months and years.

Takes only minutes, the results? Spectacular.

By the way, if you are experiencing tinnitus, it could very well be earwax! Highly recommend this ear "tune up" on a regular basis.

I use this on a regular basis and have my Doctor clean them at least once a year. Even if you clean your ears on a regular basis you might be surprised what out

This is what I use. Get it at Walgreens.

I put warm water in a bowl with a few tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide. Fill the bulb and squirt it as fast as you can into the ear. You’ll be blown away at what comes out.

Serge.......Great post and a solid suggestion for those who do not give thought to cleaning their ear canals at home. I have used Debrox four times a year for the past 10 years or so. It softens the ear wax and allows the warm water under pressure to flush ear wax from the ear canal. I usually put the Debrox drops in each ear once a day for two days before I flush the ear canals with water. I found more ear wax is removed after two days of drops than a single dose of drops followed by an immediate warm water flush.

For audiophiles, this is a beneficial and inexpensive upgrade to our musical enjoyment.

I completely agree that great hearing is the penultimate audio upgrade. In addition to keeping the ear canal as free from debris as possible, do not forget about hearing loss. Age related hearing loss is inevitable, but if one is experiencing intermittent hearing loss or ringing(tinnitus) it would be wise to consult an audiologist for a hearing examination. In addition to age related hearing loss, one must be aware of noise induced hearing loss from exposure to loud sound. Therefore, keep the sound system volume adjusted at a reasonable level and double check the sound intensity from time to time with a sound decibel meter.

Happy listening
