SoundStage Australia reviews the Alexia 2
http://www.soundstageaustralia.com/i...2-loudspeakers
FYI Wilson aficionado's. A first genuine review of the (magnificent) Wilson Alexia 2. And in typical EK style, it's very insightful and thorough. Edgar had lived (very happily too) with the Alexia v1 for 4 years, so the review is more than just an assessment in outright terms; It's also an assessment of the Alexia evolution. |

Too much like a sonnet and not enough critique.

Horses for courses.... I thought it was a good review.
Having now heard Alexia 1 and 2 myself, in the same location and with same system components, I was actually surprised (in a good way) by the level of refinement. I was already a big fan of Alexia 1, but the Wilson engineers have really raised the bar with 2 by eliminating the very minor flaws in subjective neutrality and top-to-bottom coherence. |

I recently have been able to listen to Alexia 2s with Audio Research equipment vs Alexx on all Dag front end. Up until that point I felt that Alexx would be my ending place ... now I’m not so sure. The Alexia 2s are that good.

No surprise, Wilson Audio has been on an absolute roll with their speakers past 6 years or so. Sophia 2, 3, Maxx 3, Sasha, Alexandria. All great speakers
