Any amazing bookshelf recommendations?

I was considering Canton 9K and KEF Ref 1.

Anyone have experience with Magico Q1s? Seem over-priced, but haven't auditioned them.

I love the Kef Reference 1s. They deliver quite a bit for the price point, and the reference uni-q driver produces a very wide soundstage. I bought my Reference 5s completely based on hearing the ref 1s and am very happy

Have not heard about the new Joseph Audio Monitor. Should be interesting. I had a pair of RM33xls with the seas driver upgrade. Fantastic speakers. Only reason I sold them was because I have a huge room and I like to play music, particularly symphonic music, really loud! My Volti Rivals can do that!

None with MC275, but I owned MC2102 and original Confidence C1; very happy with the combination. Matter of fact, I believe Dynaudio and McIntosh go VERY well together in general. I would expect the 275 to be even better than the 2102. Can't go wrong!

My Game room system is 275V6 c2200 and d100 with Dynaudio Focus 160 speakers. Even with horrible acoustics aka concrete floors, wood ceiling and rock walls the system sounds amazing. I"m a big Dynaudio fan! So much so I'm getting the Contour 60s for my main rig in the great room. MC601s, c1100 arriving this week and d1100 not yet ordered.

JBT ..... BIG congrats!!!! You will love your Contour 60s. I have 30's but all along have wanted 60's. McIntosh and Dynaudio is a wonderful combination. Sorry to derail the topic but i am genuinely happy for you and look forward to your comments when your system comes together. Heck, our systems are very similar. Enjoy!

It's all coming together! I suspect the 60s will be a Christmas gift from my significant other. I'll make shopping easy for her!
