Here are some real oldies, but I think they were great

Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte

Who's Afraid of Virgina Wolf

What Ever Happened To Baby Jane

Not as old, but I always liked, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest

Some Like it Hot. A classic tale. Well written, witty & fun.

Voted best comedy ever by the AFI.

You can't go wrong with either of these Eastwood flics.

There's also 'The Searchers'. I've read where it was John Wayne's favorite character, of all the films he did. He was the scariest character in the film, because you didn't quite know how he was going to react to the indians. He did not like the indians. And there was the subtle relationship he had with his sister-in-law.

There was also 'The Night We Never Met'. This comedy (with Broderick & Sciorra) had some mis-direction & confusion, which made the film.

Too many other films to mention (sci-fi, history, etc.).

Amigo. Love your tastes in gear and cars. Also like that you are rarely wrong. You ARE the only one that though Tim Dalton did a good job!

Craig in the last one was still broken. Next Bond will probably have him back to the womanizing, drinking his liver silly, yet still shooting em up sorta movie we *all* like in Bond.

Great movie? Seems like the greatest movies (as far as thought provocation) are the ones that do the least in a 5.1 system. Say, Shawshank Redemption... where Morgan Freeman god robbed from an Oscar. Or, how about American Beauty? The imagery in that movie was incredible. Dark Knight, Empire Strikes Back, Matrix, Schindler's List... the list can go on and on for movies that make you 1) never, ever, fall asleep while watching, and 2) typically will make you do a sort of take when something happens. (Ivan, I miss the wtf smilie...)

Gotta love the cinema. Gotta love having it in your home! No sticky floors there!

I always enjoy a good Mafia flick.

Once Upon a Time in America,
Wise Guys,
God Father
Casino,
Carlito's Way,
Reservoir Dogs,
The Untouchables,
Pulp Fiction
A Bronx Tale
Scarface
Oh yeah, even "Analyze This" and "Analyze That!"

For those who don't agree with me, "You wanna fresh one?"

Oh, I forgot A Bronx Tale. The movie was great. A few months ago I saw Chaz Palminteri do his one man show that was the basis for the movie. Amazing, he is the only one on stage and tells the same story talking about two hours straight.

I think it's pretty evident- it always comes down to the story for greatness to apply.

Everyone knows the best scene in movie history is when Indiana Jones shoots the guy with the big sword.

No, wait. Everyone knows the best scene in movie history is when Harry Lime steps out of the shadows in that doorway and reveals himself for the first time.

No, wait. Everyone knows the best scene in movie history is when Lawrence rescues Gasim from the Sun's Anvil.

No, wait...
