Just so you know, the SME V arm was not "voiced" for the Sumiko cartridge or any other cartridge for that matter. Alistair was a scientist. The two do work well together, but whoever told you that is yanking your chain.

You're correct -- my error -- too much reading lately -- Mikey (F) reported & Sumiko supports it was voiced though on the IV.VI arm. I'll ask Bill P. next time I see him.

Definitely will David -- needless to say, I have bought my last amps and now speakers and analog rig.

I believe I have settled on a cartridge -- Sumiko Palo Santos Presentation which is the flagship within the Sumiko lineup & has the warmth of a Koetsu and a great match for the V.

The table/arm/cartridge has left the building and on a pallet (but won't be delivered until November).
