A staunch supporter. I loved it with the Clearaudio Stradavari -- much better than the Talliman IMO. It matched very well with an all McIntosh rack and the sound was gorgeous. Well built (like a tank -- heavy at around 60 pounds).

Put on a better cartridge than the Tallisman and anyone, IMO, would be well satisfied with vinyl. It definitely trumped my MCD500 w/the Stradavari & should considering.

Speed was dead on over the timeperiod I owned it. Easy to set up and non-tweakable -- which was nice considering some tables offer this and that upgrade/accessory for mega bucks that do nothing, IMO.

For the casual vinyl guy w/a McIntosh stack/rack -- a very nice, dependable table. My neighbor who came over and auditioned the SME -- first thing said -- where is the pretty table?

Thanks Jim. I don't have as many as one would expect -- as I'm still a working stiff who puts in around 10+ hours a day -- so, my main listening sessions are Fri-Sun. Anyway, getting to your question, looking at my sheet -- 135.5 at present Jim. Nearly half way.

The picture attempts to show the visual harmony & I know you saw them at RMAF on the ground floor of the Marriott, but quite a different setting here in person with the McIntosh accents & the hand rubbed red violin/black finish. The finished detail on these speakers is second to none IMO considering how they are constructed. There are a lot of wood pieces to consider for one speaker & each has to be precise. There isn't a flaw anywhere -- almost like they were CNC'd from a huge block of wood.

I don't know how many times since I've had these that I've jumped out of my chair, scurried to the front door expecting to greet someone who was knocking or ringing the door bell & no one is there. I shake my head each time.

Yep, the beauty of these speakers is so over the top; the fact that they make awesome music is a bonus.
