My wife and I have sold our homes and are moving to SC. This is the last picture of my dedicated room in Pennsylvania. It has served me well but the time has come to pack up the gear.
Looking forward to moving it all to a slightly larger (~16' X 23') and brighter 'bonus' room in our new place with a balcony over a golf course. (I apologize in advance to my neighbors for the wonderful noise!) It will be a new journey to get things right as I plan to put the Strads along a long wall which will have my listening position a few feet off the back wall - may 2 to 3. Image1500989955.156770.jpg

A lot of nice homes & golf courses there & very reasonable living costs too. Parents live in Florence within the Country Club of SC. Peaceful & a damn fine course w/plenty of others around.

What's interesting is how the sound is changing with each GIK panel I remove. Removing the ceiling cloud panels just raised the high end tremendously. Sound stage is bigger, much brighter and higher off the ground. System is also louder. Mental note... ceiling panels were a critical part of taming my low (7'6") ceiling.
