FIXED IT!

I played around in the setup meny and changed the INPUT1: CD to INPUT3: CD.

Dont understand why that would change anything since the input order is customizable..

Anyway thanks alot guys for helping out on this short notice!

Hope you get your problem fixed soo. ANd you made an excellent chice in the MCD500. It is a tremendous piece. I had a BAT 52SE preamp with my MCD500, and when I used the MCD500 preamp section, there was no great loss in sound quality. I only sold mine , to step up to the Burmester 089. Happy listening.

wakkz...my C46 came from the factory with the input selector default setting of CD associated with XLR inputs, and default setting CD2 associated with RCA inputs. I think you might have reversed this order and that could have been the cause of your problem. Lovely pics, thanks for sharing!

+1 The mcd500 and the preamp being the same size really makes for a nice looking rack.
