I'm very happy. It sounds fantastic.
Now I hope I don't get kooky for tube rolling. |

Glad the new set are doing the job with no fuss, otherwise I might have seen it on my bench...

I was actually thinking that's where it may end up. Worked fine for me for 3 years and blows a tube out the box for Chuck. Good thing I had a spare set and all is well now.

Terry, I was most worried I have to carry that beast down to a cab to get it to Fed Ex.
Serge, So happy you had those tubes. I guess sometimes a tube just gets it wings. |

MC2102 Blowing fuses
Hello all -
I read through this thread and am in the same situation with one of my MC2102s. However, when I put in KT88s from a second working MC2102, the back panel fuse is still blowing when I turn the amp on. I'm thinking a short somewhere (even replaced two fuses inside). Probably next step is in to my local dealer for service/diagnostic, but before I do that, is there anything else I can do for troubleshooting? Thanks, Keith |
