Remember the ’90s fad for ‘hidden tracks’ on CDs? Here are 10 of the best from Nirvana, Blur, Dre and more (and where to find them)

Default Hidden Tracks: The Forgotten Relic Of The CD Era

On John Hiatt’s album Stolen Moments (1995) there’s a 14th song not listed, “Mile High,” that I only discovered by accident. There’s a long silence, maybe 10-15 seconds, after track 13 before the extra track plays. I fell asleep while listening on a plane and woke up to a track I’d never heard before. I’d played the disc several times at home but always removed it after the “last” song.[emoji846]
